Treherne Times

Odile Meyer of Notre Dame, attending the Thursday workshop reports, that
“It was very informative, a good day and allowed direction for answers… (I) thought that the lotteries would have brought in more revenue than the 3.3% and the tax from liquor sales would be more than 2.3%… ”

Odile reports that “when you choose to stay at home and raise your kids, there is a lot of work, and you are only valued if you are out in the work force. (I) favour… stronger laws to educate the kids, and support for family services and housing.”
